AMAZING ALICE

Smack bang in the middle of Australia sits the impressive Arunga Park Speedway in Alice Springs, Northern Territory.

The speedway is 5 minutes from the local town centre and has been in its current location since the early 1960’s.

After an extremely successful 2020 season, which wrapped up last weekend, the venue is looking magnificent and with the support of regular community grants the future of the speedway looks bright.

Club Secretary Nicky Jettner and Darren Greening showed us around the venue today and advised us of future projects which include :

• Upgrade of canteen
• Upgrade of pit area including lighting and new fence, which will see the pit area tripled in size

The venue is popular with its members and the local community and we wish them well with the projects and for their next season.
