GROWTH IN GERALDTON

With the largest competitor base in Western Australia outside of Perth, Geraldton City Speedway is one of many looking forward to the future with confidence.

The recent confirmation that World Series Sprintcars will be hosted for the first time at the venue next February is just the icing on the cake after an impressive 12 months of upgrades and innovations.

Led by President Peter Dowie, the racing surface has been completely transformed by hardworking club members with more width, an extra metre of banking and a much higher safety fence that will be completed this winter.

The fundamentals are also covered with excellent lighting, generous spectator amenities and a relaxed environment that is conducive for the growth the sport is experiencing in the region.

We can’t wait to return next February, and in the meantime the club will continue to turn on good quality racing from its wide variety of classes.
