NHULUNBUY - THE NORTHERN TRACK
The most northerly and remote track in Australia is the Nhulunbuy Speedway which sits around 1,000 kilometres east of Darwin in the Northern Territory.
Speedway Australia visited the track today with Club President Dan Wagg, not long after arriving it was evident that the people’s can do attitude make this track what it is. The club was holding a working bee and it was great to see a large number of volunteers at the venue lending a helping hand.

Future projects are:
- Lighting upgrades for pit area.
- Replacement of wall between turns 3 & 4.
- Strengthening of most fence uprights.
- Replacement of roof on stewards box.
