VOLUNTEER WEEK 2021

National Volunteer Week (NVW) is Australia’s largest annual celebration of volunteers.

Recognise – Reconnect – Reimagine. These are the themes for National Volunteer Week 2021, Monday 17 - Sunday 23 May, a celebration to acknowledge the generous contribution of our volunteers.

• RECOGNISE, celebrate and thank volunteers for  the vital role they play in making our communities stronger, especially during times of need, crisis or isolation.
• RECONNECT to what is important by giving our time to help others, our local community or a cause we value.
• REIMAGINE how we better support volunteers and the organisations they help so that they can continue to do the necessary work that they do.

This week we are celebrating the generous and significant contributions our amazing speedway volunteers make to the sport everyday.
A huge thank you to everyone who has volunteered their time to speedway because without you our sport simply couldn’t function.
