WELCOME TO SPEEDWAY AUSTRALIA, KELLERBERRIN!

The Kellerberrin Speedway Club, located 200 kms eastof Perth in Western Australia’s Wheatbelt region is the latest venue to confirmtheir affiliation with Speedway Australia, in an exciting move for the West Australian speedway community.

Newly elected club President, Allan Scutter said “It is with great pleasure that the Kellerberrin Speedway Club are affiliating with Speedway Australia” following a recent meeting with Speedway Australia CEO Darren Tindal and WA Sport Development Officer, Mitch Berliner.

Allan continued “Outgoing club President, Trevor Johnson has done a huge amount of work to put our club on the map in conjunction with the Perth TQ Car Club and the new committee look forward to continuing to raise our profile into the future.”

The Kellerberrin Speedway, otherwise known as Windy Hill Speedway is one of the more unique venues across Australia, with a sandtrap of up to 30 metres on the outside of the racetrack making the venue a favourite for West Aussie racers with less chance of hitting the concrete wall that surrounds the majority of the track.

The first Speedway Australia permitted event at Kellerberrin will be later in the year with the SSA Production Sedan Club Championship held in conjunction with the Perth TQ Car Club, before feature events for SSA Junior Sedans and SSA Street Stocks are held later in the year.

The Kellerberrin Speedway season will conclude in September with the Perth TQ Car Club 20 Year Celebrations and SSA Production Sedan 20/20, which will be an event not to miss.
